I had already purchased the bearing presses for I9 wheel/hub replacement but didn't buy the pullers as thought I could do as demonstrated on i9 videos. It may be fine without pullers on a new set of bearings but not when they've been in there for ~5k+ miles. Pullers are great, have purchased all I need to do both frame and wheel/hub bearings - the only time you may have an issue is if the bearings are really worn out and fall apart when trying to pull (happened with 1 out of 8 bearings for me). These are great quality tools and I wish I'd started by buying the full set of presses and pullers for my bike - they've already paid for themselves!
The product is machined well! The overall quality is too notch and made replacing my frame bearings a breeze. For anyone replacing frame bearings, I would highly recommend this tool.
Very well made tool. I have actually been able to use this creatively as a wind-out bearing remover as well. The kit with all the different drifts and spacers allows one to tackle almost all bearing press jobs.

Both tools came with full instructions and I found them very easy to use. The old bearings came out very easily and the new ones went in first time no problem.
It was much better than 'making do' with a hammer, screwdriver or using the old bearing to tap in the new bearing!

Great quality for the price. Id suggest getting the T Handles because wrenches make you fumble and drop parts.
Ordered a few pullers and a press for my Norco and Santa Cruz pivots. Let me tell you, these are the BEST tools for the job. Bearings come out easily with the pullers, no hammering or hamfisting - just come out. The press so smooth and easy alignment. Have to say best that these are worth the money!!!

I've previously used DIY tools, including cutting sockets, to replace bearing - a bit hit and miss! So while these might seem expensive, they make the job of removing and fitting bearings a breeze - good investment in my eyes.
